For suppliers

Reach flooring contractors at the moment they order.

Founding suppliers list free, for a limited time.

We're signing our first suppliers now. Bring your full product specs and we'll get you listed before the marketplace opens to contractors across Alberta.

GridReader is where flooring subcontractors measure their blueprints, quote the job, and schedule their crews. The GridReader marketplace puts your flooring and accessories right inside that workflow, at the point the contractor knows exactly what the job needs.

Where we are

The marketplace is starting in Alberta, expanding across Canada soon, and then into the US. Founding suppliers get in before each new region opens.

Why sell on GridReader

Contractors arrive knowing what they need.

Every GridReader job starts with a measured takeoff: rooms measured from the drawing's own lines, a product assigned to each room, and waste worked out from the maker's data sheets. When a contractor orders (marketplace ordering coming soon; purchase orders already pull from the signed job), the quantities come straight from that takeoff, so orders arrive complete and correct.

Your products in the spec, not just the catalog.

GridReader already carries 133 products with install rules. When the GC and designer have specified a product, GridReader puts it in the right rooms from the spec sheet. When they haven't, the contractor picks from the marketplace list. Either way, products listed with full specs (coverage, roll width, waste) are priced room by room on the quote.

Commercial and multi-family volume.

GridReader is built for contractors bidding multi-unit buildings from architect drawings, so a single job can mean flooring for dozens of units.

Connect your system, end the phone calls.Coming soon

Contractors spend hours calling suppliers about stock, lead times, and cancellations. Once your inventory system is connected to GridReader through your API, contractors will see your live stock, lead time, and price right on the job. They'll order the exact quantities from their takeoff and schedule the delivery to match the install date. Live stock, price and API connections are being built with our first suppliers now.

How it works

Planned marketplace flow (ordering through the marketplace is coming soon; purchase orders already exist in GridReader today).

  1. 01

    Get in touch.

Email hello@gridreader.com and tell us about your business, the product lines you carry, and where you deliver.

  2. 02

    Connect your API.Coming soon

Share stock, lead times, and pricing through your API so contractors always see current numbers. These connections are being built with our first suppliers. Add data sheets so your products can be priced room by room.

  3. 03

    Get orders.

When marketplace ordering opens, contractors will order straight from their GridReader jobs, with quantities pulled from the measured takeoff. Every order arrives as a purchase order naming the exact project and delivery address.

  4. 04

    Deliver on schedule.

The contractor picks a delivery date that fits the install schedule. Delivery dates will be tracked on the job, so the contractor and crew know when material arrives and can plan acclimation before install.

Financing Coming

GridReader plans to offer project financing, so contractors can fund material for the whole job and have it ordered and scheduled before day one. Fewer stalled orders for you. Financing companies: we're looking for a partner. Reach out at hello@gridreader.com.

Pricing for suppliers

Founding suppliers list free.

For a limited time, suppliers who join now list at no cost. After the founding period, GridReader takes a commission on completed orders only — no listing fees and no charge unless a contractor buys. Terms are set one on one with each supplier.

Optional sponsored placement.

Suppliers can be featured when contractors browse accessories or alternates, always labelled "Sponsored."

Our transparency promise

Commission rates are never shown. GridReader never recommends flooring because a vendor paid for it. The product in every room comes from the contractor's spec sheet, not from a sponsor. When the spec allows a choice, suppliers will be listed by stock, lead time, and price (live stock and price are coming soon, built with our first suppliers). Anything sponsored is labelled as sponsored and never touches the takeoff, the spec match, or the quote. We earn when the right material is ordered, so that's the only thing we're paid to do.

Built by a flooring installer

GridReader was built in Edmonton by Halil Tuna, who spent 20 years in the field. He knows what it takes to get the right material to the right job on time, from both sides of the counter.
